Privacy Policy

Straybits Corporation ("we", "us") operates straybits.ca. We like our privacy, so we assume you like yours. This policy describes the little we collect and the less we do with it.

What we collect

• Contact form. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, and message you provide, along with the IP address the submission came from and a timestamp. We use this solely to read and respond to your message.
• Server logs. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to serve and secure the site, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we don't do

• No analytics or tracking scripts.
• No advertising, and no selling or sharing of your information with third parties.
• No cookies set by us.
• Our contact-form captcha is a small proof-of-work computation that runs in your browser — no third-party captcha service ever sees you.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the standard request metadata needed to serve the font files. Hosting and storage are provided by Cloudflare.

Retention

Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to deal with your inquiry, and are periodically deleted. If you'd like yours removed sooner, just ask via the contact form.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Given how little we collect, don't expect much drama.
